Well maybe this topic some ppl might find it abit boring, cos no girls! haha but have you guys wonder before why SBS Buses and TIBS Buses captains some got serious attitude problems, like driving recklessly and kept honking, and some love to pack in so much ppl till its even difficult to breathe properly in the bus..

i think we have to choose which country are we comparing it to. overall i think it's still ok except for the inconsistent waiting time, even at times when the bus stop is very near the interchange where they should be coming out on time.

i understand during the time before ez-link, ppl used to just press the lowest fare using their transit link card. there are quite a hugh loss in revenue. but now, with the introduction of ez-link card, there should be a hugh portion of revenue recovered. should they be looking at providing much better services or reducing the price?

i understand cruel oil is at a sky high pricing in it's history, many ppl might be concern about the pricing of petrol for their cars. but is that 30-40% increase in fuel going to hurt their profit margin so much considering there are so many other factors and varible costs involved in the whole system.

talking about public transport, most of the sg should had taken the driver-less north-east line. at first they chose this system due to lower operational cost. when they launch it, they say they need to increase the price due to higher operational cost; reason? driver-less... sorry about this but whoever say this is lack of wisdom, there's no respect for the thinking minds of the public.

not opening one of station with residents staying around it. it's saving cost right?? to where? or who's pocket? i read of a resident getting a warning from the police for placing white elephant at the station. that's act of a coward, the person who intructed the action taken to the resident. he/she had made some decisions and taken some actions but unable to accept feedbacks from the public. if anyone can't accept comments, pls dun act a hero trying to serve the public.

sry... a bit out of point but just my personal view as a 'outsider' :twisted:

Some even refuse to stop when a passager flagged for the bus to stop. The bus diver will look away and treat as if there is nobody at the bus stop. I was one of the many victims.

I am always wondering, when company reported having a lost in income as compared to previous year, are they refering to a drop in profit or really operating at a lost?

haha, thanks for all the great comments.. anyway i m one of those victims who flag for the bus but nv came to a stop and the driver act as if nothing happen.. "I AM transparent sia" haha..

haiz, just have to bear with the bus driver in SG.. they always keep pushing ppl by : "hey go in abit CAN! go in abit LEH!" wah kao, abit sian already.. keep squeezing as if everyone drop at the same place.. sometimes i dread of standing in the middle, can go down from front door, neither the back door..

anyway it really sux..

dunno abt u guys but when i used to take the bus before i got my car, a very common prob i faced was once the bus is close to the interchange, the bloody bus driver (or so-called captains) drive damnn farking slowly..... n this usually happens 4-5 stops before the interchange... think if i jog i can reach the interchange fasterprobably they are too early for their targeted time??!!

but its damn bloody irritating esp if you are in a rush.... :evil:

i encountered this too, they drove slowly or fast depends on their time slots.. if the next bus journey they r taking up will be later, they will drive slowly before reaching the interchange (to prevent sai kang, juz like army, if u r tasked on some jobs, u will want to finish on time rather than "overtime or undertime" right?)

nevertheless if any unhappiness abt their serice, can always approach the complain section.. i did that, but their response sux.. therefore i forward the whole mail including the sucky reply from them to LTA..

wah after which their higher authority reply me with more politeness and more apologetic tone..
